Why Psalm 119?
Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible with 176 verses. It has a similar length to the shorter books of the Bible like Ruth, James and Philippians.
The chapter has 22 stanzas, each beginning with a letter in the Hebrew alphabet.
The chapter has great beauty describing the facets of God’s word which includes laws, percepts, statutes, commands and testimonies. Thus all but two verses (122 & 132) in this chapter have some aspect of God’s word explained.

3) Importance of eyes
Open the eyes of my heart (i.e. Give me Revelation) so that I may see wondrous things from the Laws of God. (refer 119:18 NKJV)
Turn away my eyes from seeing vanity (worthless things, idols and idolatry); and restore me to vigorous life and health in Your ways.(refer 119:37 NKJV)
My eyes anticipate the night watches and I am awake before the cry of the watchman, that I may meditate on Your word. (119:148 NKJV)
4) Learning
Your word I have memorised and laid up in my heart, so that I might not sin against You.(refer 119:18 NKJV)
I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. (119:16 AMPC)
Make me understand the way of Your precepts; so shall I meditate on and talk of Your wondrous works. (119:27 AMPC)
The arrogant and godless have put together a lie against me, but I will keep Your precepts with my whole heart. (119:69 AMPC)

5) Delight, Joy, Rejoicing

6) Fearing God
My flesh trembles and shudders for fear and reverential, worshipful awe of You, and I am afraid and in dread of Your judgments. (refer Psalm 119:120 AMPC)
Those who reverently and worshipfully fear You will see me and be glad, because I have hoped in Your word and tarried for it. (refer Psalm 119:74 AMPC)
7) What’s more valuable than Riches and Gold?
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches. (Psalm 119:14 NKJV)
