Go through the answers below only after you have tried answering the questions above yourself.

Answer 1 ) Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour are those who are in Christ Jesus. Thereafter they do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit of God. (refer Romans 8:1). Thus the person is free from the law of sin and death.

The righteous requirement of the law is fulfilled by the Son of God. As God sent his son, Jesus Christ in the likeness of sinful flesh, who died on the cross, God condemned sin in us. ( refer Romans 8:3)

Thus, we who are in Christ are free from condemnation.

Answer 2) Those who live in the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh, whereas those who live in the spirit, set their minds on the things of the spirit.

If anyone has the spirit of Jesus Christ, God dwells in that person. If the spirit of God dwells in a person, the person is not in the flesh.

To be spiritually minded is life and peace, whereas carnally minded people are in the flesh and they cannot please God.

Answer 3) Creation is waiting for the revelation of the sons of God. (refer to Romans 8:19) All those who are led by the spirit of God are son of God. (refer Romans 8:14). This becomes amazing beyond imagination as we remember that as sons of God, we have become heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ as mentioned in Romans 8:17.

Answer 4) No one and no situation and circumstance can separate us from the love of Christ. As mentioned in the 35th verse of Romans chapter 8, neither tribulation nor distress, nor persecution, nor famine or nakedness or peril or sword can separate us from the love of Christ. Jesus Christs love towards us was so great and beyond comprehension that he went to the extent of giving up his life for our sake – which is the ultimate price anyone can pay. Verse 38 describes the dimension of this great love that neither death nor life,
nor angels nor principalities nor powers,
nor things present,
nor things to come,
nor height nor depth,
nor any created thing can separate us from the life of God which is in Jesus Christ.

Answer 5) The answer is very clear that the potter has power over the clay and can fashion it the way he chooses to. He can make a vessel of honor or even a vessel of dishonor. God thus chooses the purpose of an individual as he decides – without any essential goons or evil from any person. Thus when Rebecca delivered Esau and Jacob, God decided that the elder would serve the younger.

Verse 15 says God will have mercy on whom he wills and compassion on whom he chooses to show.

Even the pharaoh was raised up for the purpose of showing God’s power and so that God’s name may be declared on all the earth.

The word of God alone makes a distinct mark or difference. Thus the children of promise alone are counted as seed, not the children of flesh.

Answer 6) Anyone who calls on the name of Jesus will be saved. (Romans 10:13).

This is further elaborated by saying that if we confess with our mouth Lord Jesus Christ and believes in our heart that God raised him from the dead we will be saved. (Romans 10:9,10)

The same Lord Jesus makes no distinction between any nationality or language group – a Greek or Palestinian or Iranian is saved based on the same criteria. ( Romans 10:12)

With Jesus Christ is the end of the law and He is the righteousness for everyone who believes. (Romans 10:4)
