Answer 1 ) Certainly we do not continue to sin. After accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior many things have changed.

With baptism, we are baptized into the death of Christ Jesus. Our old man was crucified with Him that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. And like Jesus Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, similarly we should walk in the newness of life. For he who has died has been freed from sin. (ref verses 2 to 7)
