Prayers are key to growing our relationship with our Father God, creator of Heaven and Earth. Prayers being communication with God, includes praises, worship, petitions, prayerful reading of the Holy Bible, meditating on the Word of God (same as Holy Bible), Declarations and many more.

Prayers also include hearing from God almighty. He directs our steps and makes our paths straight.

Declarations are a type of prayer, where we speak God’s will into our life. The Holy Bible has God’s will for our lives. “The tongue has the power of life and death.” (Ref Proverbs 18:21). Thus, in Declarations, we speak aligning our words to the Living Word (same as the Holy Bible as it is Spirit Inspired.

Declarations for an Abundance of Joy

Why be joyful? Why rejoice always?

The Bible tells us to rejoice in all circumstances. Make these declarations aloud. Believe them as you declare them daily. A person filled with joy of the Lord knows: For with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37). Hence filled with hope and sees possibilities.

Jesus redeemed us from all our sins – past, present and future.  Jesus paid the price i.e. penalty for our sins by dying on the cross. So we are free. We are no longer slaves to our old sinful nature. This is a great reason for us to rejoice. We have freedom.

Many of us treasure the presence of the Holy Spirit to abide in us. There is nothing as precious as hosting the presence of the Spirit of God in our lives. But hosting the Holy Spirit requires a heart that seeks to please God and an earnest desire to keep your eyes, ears, mind, and body from a sinful lifestyle. After all, the Holy Spirit can only stay in a clean heart.

 In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit visited select persons from time to time. Here are a few declarations based on Paul’s Epistle to the Romans, Chapter 8 and others from other parts of the Bible. These declarations will help you build a relationship with the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, it’s good that He was going to the Heavenly Father so that the Holy Spirit can be sent. The Holy Spirit reminds us about the teachings of Jesus Christ. This enables us to speak and do things that bring Heaven down. Sin and sinful circumstances flee. The Holy Spirit helps us to be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ.
