Why read the Bible?

Why read the Bible

Reading the Bible connects a Christian with the Heaven Father. The Bible reveals God, the father, to His children. We discover the meaning and purpose for our life. From the Bible, we find treasures of provision God has set aside for our lives.

Reading the Bible is like milk for a baby. By reading, we get to know Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior, the very foundation of Christian faith. Every Christian gets to understand at first hand about God’s abundant love for us. We discover God’s love for us, why He let His only son Jesus Christ die on the cross only for our sins.

In spite of all great reasons and truths, many Christians are not actively reading the refreshing power, faith, peace, and more coming from reading the bible regularly.

Hosting God’s Presence: Declarations

Hosting the Holy Spirit Declarations

Many of us treasure the presence of the Holy Spirit to abide in us. There is nothing as precious as hosting the presence of the Spirit of God in our lives. But hosting the Holy Spirit requires a heart that seeks to please God and an earnest desire to keep your eyes, ears, mind, and body from a sinful lifestyle. After all, the Holy Spirit can only stay in a clean heart.

John the Baptist was told by the Spirit of God that the person on whom the Holy Spirit descends and remains is the person who will baptize with the Holy Spirit. Click here to read the passage on Jesus Christ hosting the Holy Spirit.

In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit visited select persons from time to time. Whereas in the New Testament, after Jesus Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, He sent the Holy Spirit for all disciples of Jesus Christ—which includes all of us. Declarations for a good personality

Declarations for a good personality

God made mankind in HIS image. As we believe that Jesus Christ is our only Lord and Savior, we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). All inferior thoughts are lies from the devil. We should not allow these thoughts any influence in our lives. God is good. He is good all the time. While we are not there yet, we make progress towards that daily.
