Five effective ways to inherit

Five effective ways to inherit

God’s word is inspired by the Spirit of God. It is pure like silver refined seven times. It defies common knowledge and understanding and natural laws. Nothing hinders God’s word. Jesus Christ is the Word who became flesh. Miracles, supernatural things take place when we have faith in Jesus Christ, the Word of God. Here are five powerful ways you can put into practice to inherit land.

  1. Wait on the Lord: Those who wait on the Lord will inherit the earth. (Psalm 37:9b) Wait on God is to hope, anticipate and trust in God. With faith, one can wait upon God. Remembering the testimonies of God helps us to wait with expectation on God. Only a person who has faith in God can wait  on God. A person who waits on God, has the eyes of his heart fixed on God, on His eternal qualities, on God’s character, nature, on His love.
  2. Meek shall: The meek shall inherit the Lord. And shall delight themselves in the abundance of Peace. (Psalm 37:11) A meek person is quiet and gentle. A person of self-control. This can come only with certainty and knowing of trusting in God.
  3. Upright shall: The Lord knows the days of the upright. And their inheritance shall be forever. (Psalm 37:18) The upright person is honest and honorable. Do not seek out anything out of envy or greed.
  4. Righteous shall: The righteous shall inherit the land. And dwell in it forever. (Psalm 37:29) The righteous person is in right standing with God. God is righteous and He is the judge. Everyman is a sinner. But for a person who believes in Jesus Christ as his savior, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ have become righteous. The price for this person’s sin has been paid by Jesus Christ. Thus every believer in Jesus Christ is righteous.
  5. Keep His way: Wait on the Lord and keep His way. He shall exalt you to inherit the land. (Psalm 37:34a) So waiting upon God, trusting in Him is important. Obeying His ways is important. It is important that one’s life becomes fruitful in yielding the fruit of the Holy Spirit of God. This fruit can only come by having a heart which is yielded to God. This can happen only if you keep going in God’s way. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23) The superiority of this way can be understood if you notice that this way is superior to law.

May your words, thoughts, and actions be birthed from traveling a path paved by love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
