Start from victory

Yes, as a Christian with active faith in Jesus Christ our Lord who was crucified to death and was resurected by the power of God victory is already ours.

Right from every battle to the greatest wars, our victory is a done deal. Our victory means we have guaranteed eternal life. Our seating is a huge upgrade – an upgrade beyond imagination – we are seated in heavenly places. We are seated in the throne room of God along with Jesus Christ, God’s begotten son and our Lord and Saviour.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:4-10 NKJV)

Coming back to our victory, our victory is triumphant, loud with great rejoicing. It’s also fragrant, with the fragrance of Christ Jesus.

Before we start any venture, before we plan, before we start a journey, before we start an assignment, before we cook, before we carry out a marketing pitch, we can do good by remembering that we start from a place of victory, because of Christ Jesus with us.

14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.(2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV)
