Prayer : Asking God to Light Your Lamp

I will love You, O LORD, You are my strength.

You are my rock. You are my fortress and my deliverer.
You are my God, my strength, I will trust in You.
You are my shield. You are the horn of my salvation, You are my stronghold.

I call upon you LORD.
I shall be saved from my enemies.

You light my lamp;
My God, You will enlighten my darkness.

For by You I can run against a troop,
By You I can leap over a wall.

Your way is perfect; I Love you more.
Your word is proven;
You are a shield to all who trust in You.

You are my God, you arm me with strength,
You make my way perfect.

You make my feet swift like the feet of deer,
And You set me on my high places no enemy can reach me.

God, You teach my hands to make war,
My arms can now bend a bow of bronze.

You have given me the shield of Your salvation;
Your right hand has held me up,
Your gentleness has made me great.

You have enlarged my path under me,
So my feet do not slip.

You deliver me from my enemies.
You lift me up above those who rise against me;
You have delivered me from the violent man.

Therefore, I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among my family and friends,
And sing praises to Your name.
