Morning Prayer – based on Bible Verses

O God, Thank you for giving me rest through the night.
Thank you for giving me rest because I am your beloved.

I thank you for protecting my household, place of work (or field/ land/ business).
I thank you for giving abundant life to my family and friends.

As I start my day, I am excited for the plans and purposes you have for my life today. Cause my ear to hear your loving kindness through the day.

Teach me to do your will.
I lift my soul to you, my dear Lord.

You are my Lord God.
Lead me into the land of uprightness.

May the meditation of my heart, the words of my mouth, and the actions I take bring Glory to you, Lord.

Lord, give me wisdom and strength to handle every matter according to your perfect will.

I desire to please you in every manner, with every decision and action, and with every word.

Cause me to know the way in which I should walk.
The decisions I should take.

I believe, and I am greatly excited that my eye has not seen,
Nor have my ears heard, nor have I ever imagined,
The situations and favor you have prepared for me as I love you dearly Lord and am called by Your purposes.
( ref 1 Corinthians 2:9 )

I commit my works to you, Lord Jesus.
I thank you for establishing my thoughts.
I thank you for the wholesome tongue, which is a tree of life.

I know the answer of my tongue is from you, Lord.
I ask you, Lord, for wisdom to fear you and love you,
To number my days and to use my time purposefully today

I will rejoice and be glad today,
As this is the day that you, my Lord, have made.

I desire to be your chosen instrument,
To further your kingdom with everyone I interact with.

I choose to surrender my day to you, Lord,
So that your will would be done in my life today.

All this I ask in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Amen.
