Do you know that you have abundant favour from God because of your relationship with Jesus Christ? Since you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour, you are a righteous person. Thus, your righteousness is due to the decision you have made on Jesus Christ.
Are you an upright person?
An upright person is one with integrity, moral straightness, and a heart devoted to God’s commandments. Examples include Job, described as “blameless and upright”, Noah, who walked with God, and Joseph (stepfather of Jesus), described as a just man.
Some of us could be like Job, Noha or Joseph.
But all of us are justified by faith and have become upright by accepting Jesus Christ as our saviour. This is not based on our individual merit. This righteousness is imputed (given) by God to us.
Knowing these truths is important. Do not believe any lie of the enemy. Rather, exercise and reject every lie and instead accept every truth.
