Christian's Faith Walk

Commit Your Actions to the Lord

Today’s verse is from Proverbs 16:3.  Here is the verse from three versions of the Bible.

Commit your actions to the Lord,
and your plans will succeed.
(version NLT)

Commit your works to the Lord,
And your thoughts will be established.
(version NKJV)

Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed. (version AMP)

There is a sure and certain way to succeed with what’s your responsibility, your job responsibilities.

Prayerfully submit this to the Lord. Ask Him to take charge of it as your wisdom, awareness, and skills are limited. For any work, from preparing a meal, to organising an event, to negotiating with a vendor, we need wisdom, grace, favour, insight and many others. Only the Lord has these in abundant measure.

Start this as a habit, make this your nature. You will get thoughts, contacts, remember relevant matters, and the right people will come to you. All who follow this experience heaven’s army of angels ready to do the Lord’s will for you.

The Holy Spirit is the counsellor, who gives us wisdom which solves all kinds of difficult problems. The solutions are so beautiful, often so simple, very appropriate, we will wonder why we had never considered this.

No more stress and anxiety can get into your mind. You become restful. Your mind is alert. A peaceful stream of solutions and options flow into your mind.

Never fail to commit your work to the Lord. You would really love the benefits. You will wonder why you had not started this earlier. Take the very first step now.
